Ann Meyer Appointed by Governor DeWine to Cemetery Commission March 4, 2021

Arlington’s Senior Vice President, Ann Meyer, has been appointed to the Ohio Cemetery Dispute Resolution Commission by Governor DeWine.  Her three year appointment is effective beginning March 3rd.

The Ohio Dispute Resolution Commission is a nine-person commission that operates under the Department of Commerce, Division of Real Estate.  The Commission meets to hear, review and resolve complaints filed against Ohio’s cemeteries utilizing the informal techniques of mediation, conciliation and persuasion although it also holds the authority to refer cases to the Ohio Attorney General’s office when, in its judgment, significant consumer violations have occurred.

At Arlington, Ms. Meyer is the company’s human resource coordinator and is responsible for employee relations, compensation and benefits. She also is active in training and development of the company culture and manages Arlington’s administrative team.  She has been employed at Arlington for 40 years, is a member of the Ohio Cemetery Association, the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association, and the Colerain Chamber of Commerce.

It’s gratifying that Ann’s experience and expertise are widely acknowledged by Governor DeWine’s appointment to this important state commission.  Congratulations Ann!
