Charles E. “Charlie” Fields
Mt. Healthy, OH – Charles E. “Charlie” Fields, 67, of Mount Healthy, Ohio passed away on April 29, 2020. He was born in Benham, KY on February 21, 1953. He was the son of the late Carlin Fields and Mossie Brutsche and the youngest of three children.
Charlie went to Colerain High School. He served in the United States Army. He retired from Crown Equipment. Charlie always loved his cars & motorcycles. From the time he could drive, he loved buying all the classics and was a regular at Edgewater Race Track. In the last ten years, his favorite pastime was buying rare, classic cars and restoring them. Charlie’s most endearing quality was his twisted sense of humor. The man knew how to make people laugh.
Charlie is survived by four children, Jennifer (Jack) Bridges, Amanda Douglas, Charlie Fields II, and Carlin (Veronica) Fields. Proud grandfather of Corey (Ashley), Brandon, Jesse, Hayden, Jason, Karlie, Jaynee, Mila, Alysa, Isaak, Ryan, Jace, Bri, and Austin. Great-grandfather of Brianna & Khale. Charlie is also survived by his brother, Kenneth (Carol) Fields and sister-in-law, Karen Fields. He is preceded in death by his brother, Carlyn “Denny” Fields. Charlie also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and many close, dear friends.
Funeral services will be held in private. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens (Cincinnati, OH). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the charity of donor’s choice.
