Candy S. Knoble August 10, 1976 - May 10, 2022

Candy S. Knoble

Candy S. (Conn) Knoble, age 45, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2022.  She was born on August 10, 1976, in Portsmouth, OH, to Cecil R. Conn, Jr. who survives in Cincinnati and Karen (Dingus) Conn who survives in Portsmouth.

Candy was a 1994 graduate of Portsmouth East High School and attended Shawnee State University.  She later relocated to Cincinnati, OH where she continued her work in the hospitality industry.  She currently worked at Amazon in Springdale, OH and felt she had finally found a career that she would continue until retirement.

Candy’s smile was infectious and could literally brighten a room.  Those that knew her, know, if she was around, there were going to be laughter, and everyone was immediately going to have a better time.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always tried to improve someone’s day by sending a note of encouragement or delivering a little gift.  She was truly content when the weather turned warm and she could enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, while admiring the patio and garden she worked so tirelessly to maintain.  She loved to travel and found joy in many different environments…on a lake, at a beach, in the mountains, in the woods or just somewhere she had never been.  Her love of the Cincinnati Reds was obvious and a trip to the ballpark was common.

In addition to her parents, Candy is survived by her husband Andrew Knoble of Cincinnati, OH; her daughter Elliot Witt of Temple, TX; her son Drew Witt of Springboro, OH; her nephews Zain and Kolten Conn of Cincinnati, and her niece Rhylin Conn also of Cincinnati; her in-laws Ron and Lynn (Lanier) Knoble of Ada, OH; her “Gramma” in-law Mary Lanier of Vinton, OH; and many other family members and dear friends.

Candy was preceded in death by her brother Adam R. Conn.
