Deborah Mitchell Schmidt April 25, 1950 - May 16, 2021

Deborah Mitchell Schmidt

Deborah Mitchell Schmidt, 71, of Cincinnati, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021, at home surrounded by loved ones. Born April 25, 1950, in Cincinnati, a daughter of the late Frank and Doris Kaiser. Founder and owner of Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa and Pump Salon. She was a graduate of Oak Hills High School, and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s in Accounting Degree. Married to Bob Cettel, who survives her. Also surviving is Deborah’s only child, daughter Logan Hines (Mike), of Cincinnati; three grandchildren, Poppy, William and Sophie; two sisters, Carol Schwegel (Wayne); Bev Lilley (Bob) and beloved nieces and nephews.

Deborah was an accomplished and very well respected business woman through out Cincinnati, but her most proud accomplishment was her daughter Logan and her grandkids. She was the absolute best Gogo to those three. She was a woman that always stayed true to her heart and if she had an idea in her mind she always found a way to accomplish it. Deborah never did anything halfway in her life, and unfortunately that rang true with her cancer, it was unstoppable just as she has always been. She was truly remarkable and has left her spirit in so many.
