Glenn J. Jones, age 86, passed in peace on April 7, 2021.

He was born in Revelo, KY to Thomas and Hazel Jones. Preceding in death is both Bonnie Jones, Jerry and Tim’s mother as well as Vivian Jones, Bo and Scott’s mother. Also preceding in death are brothers, Darrell, Dorman, and Thomas Jones and parents Thomas and Hazel Jones.

Glenn had a P.H.D. in theology and was a devoted Minister for many years. He was also an aircraft mechanic that retired from G.E. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and photography. He was honored to be a Mason for over 50 years and serve in the Army during the Korean war.

Survived by brother Frank (Delno) Jones, sons Jerry (Christle) Jones and Tim Jones, stepsons Bo (Robin) Phelps and Scott (Cladys) Phelps. Grand children: Jerry (Liz) Jones, Jason (Becky) Jones, Amanda (Keith) Owens, Alyssa (Johnathan) Hollis, Kole Jones, Taegan Jones, Colton Jones, Ryan Phelps, Chris (Emily) Phelps, and Katie (Daniel) Welling. Great Grandchildren: Gabriel, Lillian, Keisheina, Avery, Takiyah, Tyrus, Alainna, Payton, Callie, Gracie, Lily, Claire, Sloane, Johnathan, Avery, and Rowen. Glenn loved his Church, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 13, 2020, at the Faith Baptist Church, 10712 Hamilton Avenue, with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service, with military graveside rites by the American Legion Post 513.
