James Burton

August 10, 1935 – September 13, 2022

James R. Burton

James Ralph Burton, age 87, passed away on September 13, 2022, with his beloved wife of 43 years Mary by his side.

Jim was born in Fount, KY to Cecil Burton and Lola Roller.

Jim is survived by his wife Mary Burton, and his children; Linda (John) Magaw, Cindy (Russell) Barber, Diana Dorgan, Bev (Hearl) Tackett, and Jim (Marsha) Burton. 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, his sister Jean Brooks, and many other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Burton, mother, Lola Roller, and his brother Earl Burton.

Jim was truly dedicated to family. He loved and cherished every moment spent with each of them. He enjoyed all sports; his favorite teams were the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. He will be forever in our hearts.

Public Viewing will be held Monday, September 19, 2022, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park).

Services for Jim Burton will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 1:30 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Terry Dean, officiating. A private crypt side service will follow.
