Joseph Kimmey

Mr. Joseph Kimmey, age 65, passed away on July 19, 2020, in the comfort of his own home.

Joe was born in Cincinnati, OH to John and Judith Kimmey. He married Vicki Umbarger of Cincinnati, Ohio on February 4, 1972, and she survives.

Joe is also survived by his mother, Judith Kimmey, children; Christine (Joshua) Feese and Joseph (Kevin Schultz) Kimmey Jr., granddaughter Kylie Feese, siblings; Tom (Pamela) Kimmey, Vickie (Mike) Jump, Scott (Donna) Kimmey, Jeff (Brenda) Kimmey and James Kimmey, and many extended relatives, friends and his beloved cats.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, John Kimmey.

Joe was a member of the Syrian Shrine, the Scottish Rite, Oakley Masonic Lodge and the Knights of Pythias. He was a master plumber who co-owned and operated Kimmey Plumbing, until his retirement in 1998. He coached his granddaughter’s softball teams, enjoyed golfing, playing softball, basketball, and sports. He was passionate about boating, BMW Cinzy Roadsters Car Club and his family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 23rd of July, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM when the funeral services will begin, at the Lockland Christian Church, 231 Mill St. Lockland, OH 45215.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Lockland Christian Church https://www.locklandchristian.org/donate/ or Crossroads Hospice https://crhcf.org/donate/

    Joe my brother you will be missed and loved I will never forget the years did I work with you or when we first moved up here and I got a job with Kimmy plumbing inviting us to Christmases thanksgivings birthdays pool parties whatever we were always welcome. I’m a little sad but I know that you’re not playing anymore you’re in a better spot. You and Vicky were such fighters I love you brother

    Joe was and is a great friend. I spent a good part of the morning telling my daughter Joe Kimmey stories and didn’t scratch the surface. Joe was one of a kind and a life long friend.

    I loved.my brother with all my ❤️.I miss him so much but he is not suffering.He was the greatest Brother any sister would want.He was a caring brother in spite of his ornery ways He Never knew a stranger.God bless you Joe and you are always in my heart 💞💞

    My heart is breaking for all of you. So many great memories of Joe . He touched many lives and will be missed by all of us that knew him and called him a friend. My prayers are with all of you along with my love for all of you. Rest in Gods hands Joe , you will me missed.
