Marjorie E. Focke
Mrs. Marjorie Elizabeth Focke, age 93, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2022.
Margie was born in Cincinnati, OH to Frank and Mary Koch. Margie married Jim Focke of Cincinnati, OH on September 29, 1951, and he preceded her in death in 2004.
Margie loved cooking, creating new recipes, including her cheesecake, caramel icing cake, potato soup, Mrs. Zenni cake aka Igneous Rock Cake, and peach cobbler. When she was not in the kitchen, or holding grand babies, she could be found on the golf course, improving her swing.
Margie also had a strong faith in God and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for over 50 years.
Margie is survived by her children, Bruce (Irene) Focke, Marlene (Ron) Push, Connie (Kevin) Cornelius, Anita (Glenn) Giesler, Thomas (Amy) Focke and Michael “Mick” Focke, grandchildren, Shannon Ellis, Ryan (Jenny) Focke, Amanda (Mike) Concannon, Vincent (Jamie) Cornelius, Sarah (Scott) Bantel, Brent Push, Allison Focke, Corey (Kristi) Focke, Julie Focke, Holly Focke, Dustin (Alyssa) Giesler, Rachel (Matt) Studer, Janey Focke, Leah Focke, Michael Focke, great-grandchildren, Tyler Riggs, Derek Ellis, Kyle Ellis, Joey Musgrave, Dylan Musgrave, Jillian Bantel, Riley Concannon, Hudson Focke, Caroline Bantel, Alex Atkinson, Noble Focke, Ethan Atkinson, Emma Bantel and Delilah Studer, sister, Esther Zenni, and many extended relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 53 years, Jim Focke, daughter-in-law, Traci Focke and great-grandson, Eli Larkin, siblings, Dorothy Neiheisel, Elmer Koch & Jean Miller.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 11th, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, when Mass will begin, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5361 Dry Ridge Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45252. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
