Maxine Rexroat, 92 of West Chester, passed away July 21, 2021.
She was born April 16, 1929, in Cincinnati, a daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Shadoans Smith.
She was retired from Wyoming Public Schools where she was a cook of “homemade meals”. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Temple for over 60 years. She loved her Lord and looked forward to attending Church services, Jolly Sixties, Sunday School class and special times with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She was married April 15, 1949, to Silas Rexroat, who preceded her in death in 1989 and the loving mother of the late Donna Tumler.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Monroe (Steve), of West Chester, three grandchildren; Michael Tumler (Kristy), Amy Wills (Troy), and Jonathan Monroe (Courtney), her great-grandchildren; Suzanna, Tristan, Dustin, Grant, Emma, and Joanna, and her former son in law, Robert Tumler, and his family. She is also survived by a sister Fayrene Sexton, and a brother Eugene Smith (Sally) and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Marion, Troy, Glen, Harold and her sister Althene.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, where friends may call from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.
