Roger Lee Stapleton age 83 passed away while surrounded by his loving family peacefully July 29, 2022.

The centerpiece of Roger’s life was his wife of 57 years, Joyce (Barlag). Devoted father of Lisa (Richard) Sciutto and Mark (Melinda) Stapleton. Loving Grandfather of Kevin (Brittany), Katie (Jake), and Ryan. Caring great-grandfather of Bridget, Michael, Josh, Natalie, and Lyla.

Roger was a United States Air Force Veteran. After serving his country, Roger became an electrician with Local 212, but his entrepreneur dream came to fruition when he opened a successful retail store- Cincy Shop.

Roger helped and contributed to countless organizations over the years, including Focus on the Family and UNICEF. Roger had a great personality, a witty sense of humor and you felt the warmth of his smile. Roger always let you know he loved you and he was always praying for his family.

Roger was one of eleven children born to James and Josephine Stapleton.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel. (Follow the red line when you enter the Memorial Park)

Funeral services for Roger Stapleton will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.

“Family and friends are invited to The Arlington Memorial Gardens Community Center following services for dinner and continued celebration of life.”

    Roger will truly be miss by one and all. He was a big part of our family in more ways than I can ever begin to write about.
