Byron joined The Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery in October 2017 and currently is developing and building The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home which is open and operating on the grounds of The Arlington Memorial Gardens with expectations of being in our New Funeral Home buildings in 2019.
Byron has a Bachelor of Mortuary Science Degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science Class of 1998 and has his Masters Certification from the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. Byron holds a Notary Public Commission and obtained the Certified Funeral Service Provider designation from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice in 2002 and In 2018 added Certified Crematory Operator designation from The National Funeral Directors Association. Byron holds an Insurance License that allows for Funding of Funeral Preneeds.
Byron served in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia and Baumholder, Germany, also the Ohio Army National Guard in Hamilton, Ohio.
Byron served at Mt. Healthy Christian Church as a Deacon, Elder and Trustee and is currently serving on the SPRC Board at John Wesley UMC. Byron has served as a Colerain Township Firefighter/EMT in Ohio with a background in Medical Assisting in Dr. John Leisgangs Office. He is a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer in Ohio and Indiana and has worked in the Mt.Healthy area Funeral Home’s since 1989.
