Obituary via Frederick Funeral Home
It is with both heavy hearts and joyous memories that we announce the passing of Mildred D. Hart (nee Anderson), who left us peacefully on July 18, 2025, at the age of 96. Born in Louisville, KY, on December 26, 1928, Mildred lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a spirit as vibrant as her favorite jitterbug dance.
Mildred was the cherished wife of the late Vaughn Hart and devoted mother to David (Irene) Hart and Rebecca (Tom) Reno. A loving grandmother to four grandchildren-Matthew (Tara) Hart, Joshua (Jessica) Moore, Melissa (Don) Carpenter, and Allison (Joe) Allen-Mildred also delighted in the presence of her 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was an extraordinary matriarch who brought joy and warmth to every gathering.
Mildred had an infectious spirit, often filling the air with her delightful childhood ditties and sharing her love for dance, even if it was just in her chair in her later years. She adored traveling, creating cherished memories during her adventures, including a memorable trip to England with her sister, June, in their senior years. Holidays and birthdays were always special occasions for her, surrounded by the love of her family.
A devoted believer, Mildred found peace and solace in her faith, a message she joyfully shared with everyone she met.
Mildred will have a private funeral service, where we will honor her legacy with the love she so richly deserves. Mildred D. Hart will always hold a special place in our hearts, reminding us of the joyous moments we shared together. Her laughter and love will continue to inspire us to celebrate life to the fullest.
