Gregory Miller

Gregory Miller, 67, of Cincinnati, passed away Thursday August 28, 2025 in his residence. He was born November 24, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Paris Dwenger and Sally Dixon and raised by Walter C. and Geraldine R. Miller.

Greg spent his career with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department from August 1981 to September 2011. He continued on the department as a Special Deputy until 2022.

He was deeply involved in parish life at St. Teresa of Avila Church. Whether it was volunteering, attending Mass, or lending a hand wherever needed, he served with humility and heart.

He was also a 32nd Degree Mason, reflecting his commitment to service, brotherhood and moral integrity.

He was deeply devoted to his family and cherished every moment spent with them. In his free time, Greg could often be found on a golf course, playing a spirited game of euchre or cornhole, or catching up with friends. He especially loved making the trip to Bristol Motor Speedway to watch NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Miller; son Kyle Miller; daughter Courtney Miller; beloved dog Chase; father, Paris and his wife Phyllis (Caudill) Dwenger; siblings Candis (Terry) Musser, Melvin (Chelsa) Dwenger, Tammy (John) Fledderman, Casey (Joanna) Schutte, Trisha (Daniel) Egleson, Jodi (Josh) Smith, Annette (Andy) Harman, Vicki Wohl, George Wohl, Ron (Melissa) Bracken, David (Deanna) Wohl and Julisue Craig.

He was preceded in death siblings, Timothy Dwenger, Paris “Joe” Dwenger, Robin Bracken, brother-in-law Tim Craig.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday September 4, 2025 from 11:30 AM- 1:30 PM in The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
