Evan P. Davis IV

Evan P. Davis IV, 56, passed away on September 8, 2025, in Hamilton, Ohio. Born on March 29, 1969, in White Plains, New York. Evan lived a life marked by service, toughness, kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those around him.

Evan proudly served his country in both the United States Navy and the United States Army. He began his military journey aboard the USS Saratoga during his two years with the Navy before completing his service in the Army. His time in uniform reflected his steadfast commitment to protecting others and exemplified the values he carried throughout his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Charlene Davis; his children, Evan Davis and Paige Davis; and his stepchildren, Jonathan Craig, Charnay Craig, Bianca Wagner, and Troy Wagner. Evan was also a proud grandfather to Cadence, Austin, and Kai.

Evan was preceded in death by his mother, Kathe Davis; grandmother Harvette Hopkins; grandfather George Amick; and Uncle John Amick.

A man of gentle strength and quiet humor, Evan brought warmth and joy into every space he entered. He was known for being loving and giving—always ready with a helping hand or a kind word. His patience and protective nature made him a steady presence in the lives of those who knew him.

Evan found peace in nature and especially enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors. Whether under the stars or beside a campfire, he cherished these moments of connection with the world around him.

A celebration of life will be held at Crossroads Eastside on Nov. 15th from 10 am to 12 pm.  May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

“Charlene, I know I never met Evan, but I remember hearing you talk about him at work and it was very apparent the love you two had for each other. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I believe he always heard you and your voice was the highlight of his days.”
