Billy Ray Wainscott

Billy R. Wainscott, born November 4, 1935, passed away January 1, 2026.  He was the beloved husband of Rita (Osterbur) Wainscott, father of Neal Wainscott, John (Carol) Wainscott, Eric (Karen) Wainscott, Kerri (Mark) Gutekunst, Stepfather to Steve (Beverly) Osterbur and Todd (Betsy) Osterbur, Grandfather of Nathan (Erin) Wainscott, Kurt (Erica) Wainscott, Alexia (Chris) Keaveney, Chad (Mallory) Wainscott, Nicholas Gutekunst, Joshua Gutekunst, step Grandfather to Matthew Osterbur, Riley Osterbur, Bethany (Colin) O’Donnell, Marc Osterbur, Meredith (Zachary) Blevins, Baileigh Osterbur, Payton (Collin) Bloomer, Colin (Alisa) Malone, and 4 great Grandchildren and 18 step great Grandchildren.  Also survived by niece Jody Wainscott and nephews Roger Samad and Ron Samad.  Proceeded in death by his parents, Sister Francis, and Brother Robert.  Bill worked most of his career at Proctor & Gamble Engineering, GE Aircraft Engines, and Advanced Drainage Systems.   

A service will be held Thursday January 15th at Christ Covenant Church (2191 Struble Road, Cincinnati, OH  45231) at 1:00 PM.  Immediately followed by a Celebration of Life and luncheon.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to 2191 Struble Road, Cincinnati, OH  45231.
