Betty Helen Hines (née Fixmer), age 93, passed away on January 11, 2026. She was born on December 13, 1932.

She was married to the late James Hines for 68 years. Betty was preceded in death by her son Jim (Cheryl) Hines and is survived by her children Sue (Ed) Shields, Barb (Russ) Rudolph, Nancy (Paul) Reinhardt, and Connie (Doug) Cole.

She is survived by her grandchildren Kenny Shields, Melissa (Doug) Alcorn, Eddie Shields; David (Mary) Rudolph, Rebecca Rudolph, Nathan (Sarah Jane) Rudolph; Mark (Angie) Reinhardt, Doug (Sarah) Reinhardt; Jeff (Emily) Cole, and Stephanie (Nick) Romer, along with 22 great-grandchildren.

Betty is also survived by her sister, Marge Duke, and was preceded in death by her brother, John Fixmer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45231, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
