It’s with great pleasure that we invite you and your family to our Christmas Remembrance Service
that will be held at our Lakeside Chapel on the afternoon of Saturday, December 10th.

Our Remembrance & Candle Lighting Service begins at 4:00 PM with Andrea Raynor
presiding. We are pleased to welcome back Ms. Raynor who is a native of Colerain, a graduate
of the Harvard Divinity School and a United Methodist minister who lives in Rye, New York.
Following the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001, she served as a chaplain to the morgue at
Ground Zero. She has authored several books including the Alphabet of Grief: Words to Help in
Times of Sorrow and has lectured on the subject of grief extensively.

This service will acknowledge our collective losses while confirming that we are not alone. In
The Alphabet of Grief, Ms. Raynor notes that “The more we lovingly and tenderly reach for each
other, the less isolating grief will feel.” We join together in this service to not only pay tribute to
our loved ones but also to support one another. At the conclusion of the Remembrance Service,
we invite you to join us on the South Lawn for Hot Chocolate as the Cincinnati Christmas
Carolers help us welcome in the holiday season.

While the Christmas Season is considered a joyful time of the year, we realize that it’s often
fraught with the pain of a loss, especially if we attempt to go it alone. Please join with us on
Saturday, December 10th for the Remembrance Service. We look forward to hosting you and
your family on this very special service. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office at 513-521-7003.
