Hugh Carter

Hugh Joel Carter, was born on July 2, 1956 in Cincinnati, OH and passed away December 15, 2022 at 2:00 AM in his sleep peacefully. Hugh is survived by his mother Phyllis Mae Carter, brother William E Carter, nephew Chad B Carter(Wife-Amy) Noah and Benjamin Carter, nephew Kyle B Carter (wife-Jenny) Caleb and Caden Carter, Uncle James Warren. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Carter and his father William E Carter and his brother Warren D Carter.

Hugh graduated from Greenhills Forest Park High School in 1974. He served his country in the US Army as a Army Corporal Specialist as a mechanic with Company C @nd Battalion at Fort Knox, KY from 3/17/79-12/8/80. He went on to work overseas in Saudi Arabia for several years and returned to the United States to work as a certified welder and supervisor of a welding shop. He hobbies were working on vehicles including race cars and collected stamps which he shared with his nephews sons and military ships and plane models.

He is remembered as a person who had real friends. He would do anything for them and they would do anything for him. A true loyal person to those that knew him.

There will be a graveside memorial service at the Arlington Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 2:30 PM. Guests are asked to show up no later than 2:20 PM at the Family Gathering Area at the front of the cemetery. The gravesite is in the Trinity Gardens.
