Shirley “Sugie” May Center was born on February 15, 1932 to James & Irma Biehl. Shirley passed away on September 3, 2024 at the age of 92 years. She was married to the late Ralph Center for 71 years. She is survived by her loving children, David Center & Peggy Center; her cherished grand-daughter Maggie (Noah Glaser) Center; and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her siblings the late Betty “Sissy” (the late Charlie) Engle, the late James “Judy” Biehl, and the late Roger “Rogie” (Hazel) Biehl. Member of Groesbeck Church. She was a lover of all animals. She displayed her dedication to her alumni, Colerain Elementary, by volunteering with the lunch program and tutoring. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19th from 9 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11 AM at Groesbeck Church, 8871 Colerain Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45251. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be directed to Groesbeck Church or to SPCA Cincinnati. Online condolences can be made at www.paulyoungfuneralhome.com .
