The Gift of Grief…are we seriously calling grief a gift??

So how is grief a gift?  Grievers know that everything can be forever changed in an instant, so we hug a little tighter and for a little longer.  We pause to smell the flowers, walk slower, realize the importance of time spent with loved ones, and say “I love you.” We have realized the gift of love and life.

Still, the holiday season can be tough for grievers who will be reminded of the loss of a loved one.  You might feel hopeless about feeling any holiday cheer.  There is hope! And there is help!  Please join us on Saturday, November 12th for “The Gift of Grief”, where you will learn tips on how to deal with grief during the holiday season.

The Gift of Grief is being led by Dr. Rachael Nolan, an Advanced-Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and published grief researcher who serves as an advocate for the needs of persons impacted by grief, trauma, and loss.
