Honoring Heros: The 10th Annual Field of Memories Celebration
When: May 23 - May 26, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Location: Garden of Patriotism
As we approach Memorial Day Weekend, we take a moment to reflect on the significance of this solemn holiday. Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their dedication and courage will always be in our hearts.
This year marks a special milestone for Arlington Memorial Gardens as we celebrate the 10th Annual Field of Memories. This cherished tradition began in 2015 with an idea and some desire to unite our community to honor and acknowledge the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Join us from May 23 to May 26 for a weekend filled with heartfelt tributes and festive activities. While we finalize the details in the coming weeks, here’s what you can look forward to:
- A breathtaking display of 1000 flags, with each flag dedicated to someone who has fallen and/or served in the military or is/was a first responder (you can purchase flag dedications with a link below)
- See and Touch the 911 steel display – courtesy of the Goodtimers throughout the weekend
- Enjoy a live band concert and fireworks on Friday night, creating a vibrant atmosphere of celebration and remembrance
- On Sunday, May 25, the community is invited to a free “Lunch with a Veteran,” followed by Fastrax Skydiving Team patriotic jump and landing in the Field of Memories area
- On Monday, at 3 PM, we observe the national moment of silence. Afterward, A flag-raising ceremony and musket salute by the Sons of the American Revolution as we honor loved ones with the reading of the names of individuals who have a flag dedication in the field of memories
The Field of Memories Celebration is free and open to the public. We encourage everyone to unite to honor those who sacrificed so much for our freedom.
As we approach May 2025, stay tuned for more information about this meaningful event. We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate the lives and legacies of our heroes!
Field of Memories Flag Dedication
When you dedicate a flag to be displayed in the Field of Memories, you can also personalize the dedication. As part of that dedication, you also can designate whether that person is a veteran, active duty military, served in the police, or as a firefighter and whether that person is buried at Arlington. All net proceeds go to Ramp It Up for Veterans, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that builds ramps for those with mobility issues.
