At Arlington Memorial Gardens, we know dogs are part of the family – and we’re proud to be one of the very few cemeteries and funeral homes that welcome them. Our 165+ acres of beautifully manicured grounds, peaceful walking paths, and 33 themed gardens make the perfect backdrop for a scenic stroll with your well-behaved pup. Whether you’re visiting for quiet reflection, enjoying the artwork and sculptures, or joining one of our many outdoor community events, your four-legged friends are welcome to come along. It’s just one more way Arlington offers a warm, inclusive place for families to gather.
And speaking of family, did you know Arlington has a dog on staff? Teddy, a golden doodle, has been part of our team for seven years (that’s 49 people years!). Working alongside his human mom, Family Advisor Lauren Christakos, Teddy helps bring comfort to families with his calm presence and friendly cuddles during difficult conversations.
At Arlington, we believe every family member – even the furry ones – deserves a place to feel at home.
Arlington’s spring/summer gate and visiting hours (April 1 – September 30) are 8 AM to 8 PM. Winter hours (October 1 – March 31) are 8 AM to 6 PM.
