A. Imagene Gregory

A. Imagene Gregory, age 91, passed away on January 13, 2023.

Imagene was born in Springfield, Illinois to Samuel and Alberta Wilson. Imagene married James Gregory in 1952, he preceded her in death in 1982.

 Imagene is survived by her children Joseph (Beverly) Gregory and Julie (Denis) Korzan. Grandchildren; Joanna Dierig, Joseph Gregory, Jill (Brad) Endres, James Korzan. Great Grandchildren; Anthony Endres. Brother James (Carol) Wilson. Imagene is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Gregory, son Michael Gregory and brother Lawrence Wilson.

Imagene was strong in her faith and dedicated to her church where she was an active member for over 50 years. She taught Sunday school, sat on committees, sang in the choir and one of her favorite activities was making candy which the ladies at the church did each valentine’s day as a fundraiser.

In her younger days, Imagene enjoyed bowling and golfing and in her golden years she enjoyed watching golf and tennis. She was also a big fan of both the Reds and the Bengals.  

Imagene had a variety of careers over her life, from working at Gruen watch where she met her husband, to being a property manager for an apartment complex and concluding as a lunch lady at an elementary school. While she was proud of her many accomplishments, she would tell you what gave her the most joy was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, 18th of January 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. Healthy United Methodist Church (7612 Perry Street, Cincinnati OH 45231) with service to begin at 11:00 AM Burial will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens following the service.

In lieu of flowers you may make memorial donations to Mt. Healthy United Methodist Church or St. Jude’s. Make a donation to cure childhood cancer – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org)
