A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
We celebrate the life of Anita Faye Brock, a beloved homemaker from Norwood, Ohio who later moved to Loveland, Ohio. Born on September 1, 1932, in Pineville, Kentucky, Anita filled her days with love, laughter, and cherished moments with her family.
Anita’s passion for cards, western movies, and travel brought joy to her days. Her kitchen was always filled with the delicious aroma of her famous spaghetti and meatballs and hot chicken over rice, a true testament to her culinary skills. A devoted mother to her sons Monte, Ronnie and Stuart, Anita was an enthusiastic team mom, cheering them on at all their games. She adored her niece Mary who became her loving caregiver and support for years. She found immense happiness in watching her grandchildren, Adam, Kaitlyn, Kristin, Matt, and Ryan and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Julia, Adam, and Eli grow and thrive. Anita was no stranger to guests; she opened her home to many. Two of whom remained friends for years, Annie and Quinn Forman who she considered family.
Anita thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her close friends, Jessie, Harold, Marion, Madeline, and the West family. Alex West would bring her joy during every visit.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Gladys Carmony (nee Browning), her loving husband, Gillis Brock, her siblings, Ron Carmony, Loretta Crane and Tokey, her son, Ronnie Brock and her grandson, Christopher Wade.
With a heart full of love, Anita was known for her warmth and generosity towards all she met. A loyal member of the Eastern Star and a fan of bird watching, especially hummingbirds, Anita found solace and beauty in the world around her. Her faithful companion, Allie her dog, brought comfort and companionship for twelve wonderful years.
Join us as we honor Anita’s memory with a Visitation being held at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Graveside service will follow in the Garden of Trinity.
Let us come together to celebrate her life, share stories, and hold onto the memories that keep her alive in our hearts. Anita will be laid to rest, surrounded by love and the beauty she cherished, as her spirit continues to watch over her cherished family. Though Anita may have left this world, her legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. May Anita’s memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
