Anita J. Dearwester, age 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was born on November 3, 1935, to James and Helen Mae (née Clark) Reed.

Anita was the beloved wife of the late Wilbur “Bill” Dearwester. She was a devoted mother to Rick (Donna) Dearwester, Brenda (Terry) Hill, and Dawn Dearwester. She was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren, a cherished great-grandmother to 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Sister of Doug, Jim, Gary, Nadine and Donna. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Anita was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness were evident to all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Friendship Baptist Church 8580 Cheviot Rd. (45251) on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 10:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Immediately to follow, burial will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Donations may be sent to Friendship Baptist Church.
