Avah Victoria Flower

In Loving Memory of Avah Victoria Flower

Avah Victoria Flower, a beautiful soul with a zest for life, left this world on December 6, 2023, at the age of 17. Born on October 23, 2006, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Avah was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and dear friend who touched the lives of those around her with her free spirit and vibrant personality.

With her deep love for animals and her dream of one day owning her own facility to train them, she touched the lives of both furry friends and humans alike. She was passionate about volunteering and training animals.

She loved exploring the great outdoors, finding peace and inspiration in nature’s wonders. She enjoyed long walks, sunsets, gardening, flowers, and butterflies. Avah cherished collecting rocks and seashells from the beach that served as a reminder of the memories she made in those moments.

Avah was a free thinker, with a charming personality. She found her peace through creative writing, music, drawing, painting, and other creative explorations. She also enjoyed cheerleading and participating in other school activities, valuing the friendships that were developed.

While our hearts ache with the loss of Avah, we take solace in the memories we shared and the impact she made in our lives. Her untimely departure leaves a void that cannot be filled. We celebrate the joy, love, and light she brought to this world.

Avah leaves behind her mother Nicole Flower, her brother Noah Flower, her sister Kelsey (Flower) Fay, her uncle Grant Syslo and extended family.  In addition, Avah and her family were blessed to have Greenwell’s (Lang), Tingley’s, Johnson’s, Shouse’s, and so many others who were embraced as family in their lives and will all miss her dearly. Avah’s loving grandfather, James Syslo who preceded her in death.

A celebration of Avah’s life will be held on January 6, 2024, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line when you enter the memorial park). Visitation will be held at 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Memorial Service at 12:30 PM with inurnment immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Avah Victoria Flower Memorial Fund.

Avah Victoria Flower will forever be missed but never forgotten. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts and remind us to embrace life with the same passion and joy she possessed.

““Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.” – Vicki Harrison Nicole, Ever since I learned of Avah’s death, I have kept you close in prayer. At our meetings, I always remember how your face lit up when you spoke about Avah and how much you loved her. May God grant you what you need as you face her unimaginable loss. Eternal rest dear Avah and may the saints and angels welcome her into paradise. Peace and love, Karen (KMAG)”
