Barbara Ann Sinclair Heustis-Groves, born February 12, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio, died November 19, 2022 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Barb was a graduate of Western Hills High School, Moler School of Cosmetology and Raymond Walters School of Dental Hygiene.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Groves, DDS., son Paul B. Heustis; sisters Wanda (Elmer) Harness and Dorothy Sinclair; parents Clarence Sinclair and Debbi Abrams Sinclair. Beloved aunt of Patricia (Ken) Rentschler, Steven (Patti Rogers) Harness and Susan (the late Bill) Reid; five great nephews, one great niece and 8 great great nieces and nephews.

Barbara worked very hard all of her life from the time she was 16. She became a hairdresser at 19 and practiced that for 26 years. She then chose to go back to school to become a dental hygienist, her career for nearly 30 years, at which time she retired to nurse her husband until he passed in 2014.

Her great love was her family, especially son Paul and husband Gene. She liked to study her Bible, travel, swim and cook.

She was never afraid to die and even though we are all grieved by her loss, we are joyful of her reunion with the Lord and family members who have gone before her. We know that we will meet again on the other side of death.

Visitation will held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy on Wednesday, November 23 from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 12 Noon.
