Barbara Jean Wolf, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 76. Born on November 18, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Barbara was known for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family.

Barbara, affectionately referred to as “Barb” by those closest to her, was a proud resident of Maineville, Ohio, where she created a warm and loving home for herself and her loved ones. She was a devoted mother to her son Randy (Jessica) Wolf and her daughter Jennifer (Andy) Fariello, whom she cherished above all else. With a nurturing spirit, Barbara dedicated herself to her family, providing them with unconditional love and support throughout their lives. Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren, Avery Wolf, Ian Fariello, Chad Hannah, Lucas Wolf, and Danica Fariello, siblings, Marlene Kent and Joann (Nelson) Brackett, brother-in-law, Greg (Jody) Wolf, sister-in-law, Bobbie Doxsey, brother-in-law, Jeff (Pat) Wolf and sister-in-law, Jan (Rick) Doxsey.

With a career as an office manager in the healthcare industry, Barbara found fulfillment in her work, utilizing her organizational skills and compassion to assist others. Her dedication and professionalism earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients alike. After retirement and moving to Florida, Barb came out of retirement to work with children at the Emerald Coast Science Center.

Barbara found respite and joy in her visits to her second home in Destin, Florida, where she embraced the tranquility of the ocean and created cherished memories with her loved ones. Whether it was building sandcastles with her grandchildren or enjoying the sunsets with friends, Barbara’s love of the sea was a constant source of solace and happiness.

Family was of the utmost importance to Barbara. She reveled in family gatherings, where laughter, love, and countless stories filled the air. Her vibrant spirit brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the moments spent nurturing and guiding them.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Wolf, her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Elsen, and her In-laws, Earl and Barbara Wolf.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19th, 2023, from 9:30 AM until the services begin at 10:30 AM at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231. Once on the grounds of the memorial park, follow the BLUE line to the funeral home.

Barbara Jean Wolf will forever be missed and remembered with love and gratitude. Her legacy of kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to family will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of her loved ones who have gone before her.
