Betty Bohanan, age 96, longing for home passed away peacefully in 2022.
Betty was born in 1926, in Pulaski County, Kentucky to Robert and Matilda Ping.
Betty is survived by her daughter Loretta (William) Mounce, grandchildren, Tony, Ricky, Michael, Danny, Tina, Lisa, Lindy, and Betty Ann. Great Grandchildren; Colten, Tyler, Shane, Ryan, Kyle, Keith, Kaylee, Kaitlyn, Brayden and others. Betty is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, James, Gertie, Lloyd, Lona, Augusta, Mildred, Joseph, Lester, Lillian, and Merriel. Also preceded in death by her son Michael R. Baker, grandson Jeffrey Mounce, and granddaughter Rene Baker.
Betty enjoyed listening to gospel music, she was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved to garden, and she was very active even in her older years.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 11, 2022, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. (Follow the blue line once on the grounds of the memorial park)
Services for Betty Bohanan will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 1:30 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow
