Betty L. Emmert, age 84 of Price Hill, Ohio passed away on January 13, 2025 under the care of Queen City Hospice. She was born on November 19, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Louis and MaryAnn (Minning) Mobberley. She graduated from Western Hills High School and on December 30, 1961, she married Gary Emmert. Betty was employed for many years as an executive secretary at International Paper Company. She was a member of the Delhi Historical Society and was a former Girl Scout leader. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Lawson; two grandsons, Adam (Lindsay) Lawson and Brandon (Makayla) Lawson; three great grandchildren, Cooper, Felicity, and Thea; her sister Kathy (Joe) Patton; her sister-in-law, Carole Mobberley; nieces, Tina, Paula, and Angie; nephew, Nic; several great nieces and a great nephew; and other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary; son-in-law, Brian Lawson; and her brother, Clifford Mobberley. Visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, OH on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy, Ohio. The family would like to offer the option to send flowers or make a memorial donation to one of the following places; United Service Organization, Disabled American Veterans, SPCA of Cincinnati or The American Cancer Society.
