Betty Louise Buchmann

Betty Louise Buchmann

Betty Buchmann, age 89, passed away on February 26, 2023.

Betty was born in Dayton, Ohio to John and Bonnie Moore. Betty married Robert Buchmann of Fairfield, Ohio on April 19th, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

 Betty is survived by husband Robert Buchmann, son, Donald (Jill) Buchmann, daughter, Roberta (Jamie) Blanton, five grandchildren; Michael (Katie) Buchmann, Malinda Buchmann, Sarah (Andy) Henchy, Tarin (Justin) Atkins, and Shannon (Patrick) Rowe , six great-grandchildren; Audrey, Clara, Adalyn, Titus, Eden, and Gavin, many dear friends and extended family.

Betty was a beloved member of Anderson Hills United Methodist church where she was part of their choir and worked as an office manager for the church. Betty was also an avid practitioner of the arts. She was a talented painter, seamstress, embroiderer, and an exceptional piano player. She adored her family and her many dear friends. She was known for her smile that delighted all those around her. 

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, sisters, Eunice and Donna, brothers, Jack and William.

Betty would often tell others, “Have a good day, all year long.”

She will be truly missed by those who knew her.
