Beverly A. Blum (nee Petersen), age 89, passed away on April 11, 2025. Wife of the late Eugene “Gene” Blum, devoted mother of Wendy (Mike Schmidt) Carlisle and Stephen (Sue) Blum, proud grandmother of Tony (Sara), Kristi (Trent), Jenna and Kerry, great-grandmother of Taryn, Lydia, Amelia, Casey and Cali, sister of the late Donna Currens and sister-in-law of Betty Symes and the late Shirley Blum. Also survived my many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Beverly obtained her Master’s degree in Education. She taught kindergarten-3rd grades, mostly at Struble Elementary School, in the Northwest School District. Her love of teaching and caring was such a wonderful gift to all of her children during the 30 years that she had taught school.

Funeral Service on Tues., Apr. 22 at 10:30 at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington. Friends may visit the funeral home from 9:30-10:30AM. Burial Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers we request donations to be made to Queen City Hospice in Beverly Blum’s memory.
