Obituary via Frederick Funeral Home

In loving memory of Bo Miller, who graced this world with his warmth and kindness on March 1, 1954, in Cincinnati, OH and was the cherished son of the with all who knew him.

Bo was the cherished husband of Kimberly (nee Holthaus) Miller for 49 wonderful years. Together, they built a nurturing home filled with love, laughter, and adventure, raising five beloved children: Sara (Joe) Auciello, Lisa (Mike) Mirizzi, Julie (Sean) Young, Jill (Brian) Auciello, and Adam (Kristi) Miller. As a proud grandfather, he took immense joy in his role as “Papa Bo” to Brooke, Carson, Rece, Paige, Sophie, Ryan, Hannah, Hailey, Nate, Aly, Mia, Kara, Lila, Grace, Levi, Luke, Clare, Auden, and Archie. Bo was the dear brother of the late Sharon Fisher, Jim (Linda) Miller, Mike (Mary) Miller, Rick (the late Sharon) Miller, and Mary (David) Burns. He was also a cherished son-in-law of Sally (the late Gus) Holthaus and a devoted brother-in-law to Shari (Gregg) Bien, Kevin (Jean) Holthaus, Scott (Peggy) Holthaus, Kerry (Terri) Holthaus, Gerard (Debi) Holthaus, and Betsy (Chris) Stegner. Bo was the beloved nephew of Dorothy Schute and is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will forever hold him in their hearts.

Bo was a bright light in each life he touched; he never met a stranger and made everyone around him feel embraced and supported. His passion for family was evident in everything he did from coaching his children in sports to cheering for his grandchildren, he was always present, spreading joy and encouragement.  He indulged in cherished family traditions, spending time camping, celebrating New Year’s Eve at the cabin, and enjoying beach trips filled with laughter. He had a remarkable ability to connect with everyone, making others feel valued and supported, wherever he went.
As a devoted Catholic, Bo found strength in his faith at St. Ann Church, contributing his handyman skills through service to the church and as a valued member of the Northside Knights of Columbus. His faith was a cornerstone of his life and provided him with comfort and purpose.

Bo was a man of many passions, as he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, playing cornhole, fishing, enjoyed playing softball with the Disciples, and collecting coins. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, always cheering for his teams and celebrating each victory with his beloved family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bo’s remarkable life. A visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Ann Church, 2900 W. Galbraith Rd. on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Northside Knights of Columbus, 3144 Blue Rock Rd Cincinnati, OH 45239 or St. Ann Church, 2900 W Galbraith Rd Cincinnati, OH 45239 honoring Bo’s legacy of service and faith.
