Brandy Elizabeth Loftus, a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away on September 24, 2023, in Miamisburg, Ohio, at the age of 39. Brandy was born on April 20, 1984, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to her devoted mother Debbie Large and father Kenneth Waltermann.
Brandy had a vibrant and adventurous spirit. She lived life to the fullest, pursuing her passions and finding joy in every moment. Whether it was playing soccer, weight lifting, engaging in sand volleyball, or riding motorcycles, Brandy embraced every opportunity for adventure and excitement.
Beyond her love for sports and outdoor activities, Brandy’s biggest source of happiness was spending time with her two beautiful daughters, Riley and Chloe. They were her pride and joy, and she cherished every precious moment with them. Brandy was their constant support and guiding light, displaying her unwavering love and dedication as a mother.
Brandy had a deep passion for learning and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Cincinnati.
Brandy’s memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her loving mother, Deborah (Ren) Large, her cherished sisters Lani (Rob) Gilkey and Miranda (Kyle) Waltermann, and her adoring daughters Riley and Chloe, nieces Melody and Elena, and nephew, Will and doggies, Nala and Loki. Brandy’s infectious laughter, kindheartedness, and adventurous spirit and her witty sarcasm will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services and ceremonies to honor and remember Brandy will be held on October 2, 2023, at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, located at 2155 Compton Road, Springfield Township, Ohio, 45231. Once on the grounds of the memorial park, follow the BLUE line to the funeral home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the services begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Brandy’s honor to a charity supporting the Out of the Darkness Walk at https://supporting.afsp.org/, which was a cause dear to Brandy’s heart or make a donation to her GoFundMe at https://gofund.me/d3135c74.
Brandy touched the lives of many with her radiant smile, her love for life, and her compassionate nature. She will forever remain a beacon of light, and her memory will live on within the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

“I worked with Brandy years ago and can still hear her laugh, she made coming to work fun. She talked about her daughters all the time, and was such a loving mother. We kept in touch through Facebook and our love of dogs. She will be deeply missed, sending love to her family.”
