Brenda Gale Huesman

august 23, 1954 – january 16, 2025

Brenda Gale Huesman

Brenda Gale Huesman, aged 70, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025. Born on August 23, 1954, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family.

Brenda is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Stephen Huesman Sr., her children Alicia (Matt) Beierle, Timothy McKeehan, Nicole (Josh) Middleswarth and Stephen Huesman Jr. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, including her brother David Thompson and sisters Beverly (Ted) Rollins and Barb Walbright, as well as her ten cherished grandchildren: Kylie, Branden, Carissa, Nate, Emma, Conner, Ellie, Colton, Logan, and Ethan. Brenda was immensely proud of her grandchildren and took every opportunity to celebrate their achievements, often sharing her pride with anyone who would listen.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mabel Thompson.

Brenda enjoyed a fulfilling career as a clerical assistant in the insurance industry, dedicating over 30 years of service to Cincinnati Insurance Companies. Her infectious spirit fostered strong camaraderie among her colleagues, many of whom she regarded as friends. Outside of work, Brenda loved to immerse herself in her passions, which included watching movies, reading historical romance novels, and indulging in shopping for family and friends. Known for her stubbornness, she also fiercely prioritized her family’s happiness.

Brenda found joy in cooking, often preparing homemade soups and her famous mostaccioli, which became a family favorite. She cherished sun-soaked days spent outdoors, lying in the sun with a good book and was particularly fond of vacations to the beach and Gatlinburg. For many years, she created lasting memories at her parents’ camp on weekends, a place that held a special significance for her.

Brenda’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the impact she had on the lives of her family and friends.

In celebration of Brenda’s remarkable life, her family will hold a series of services at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road Cincinnati, OH 45231 on January 24, 2025. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 PM.

Donation can be made in memory of Brenda’s life to Ohio Living Hospice at https://ohioliving.org/foundation.

“I remember when Brenda first came to Maple Knoll three years ago. I was the lucky one who came to get her from the lobby she came to my group and I was her full time caregiver. Brenda and I became very close she was the best along with her family. They all made me feel like I was a part of the family. I will always cherish the memories I have of Brenda and I will never forget her. I miss her and love her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and always will be. Love, Heather”
