A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
Cara Burton, age 41, passed away on September 28, 2022.
Cara was born in Cincinnati, OH to Carl Sturm and Nadine Harold.
Cara is survived by her parents; Carl and Nadine, her daughters, Victoria Sturm and Brianna Burton, son Cameron Krois, siblings; Shawn Sturm and Michelle Phelps, along with a large extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Sturm, and she missed him dearly.
Cara loved her family more than anything in the world. Cara felt such pride in her kids – and she would never hesitate to tell everyone about them and force them to look at their pictures. She was funny and interesting and never stopped trying to see the lighter side of things and the good in people. While she was a flawed person, she tried to not let her mistakes define her and was always open to finding ways to better herself and the lives of those she loved. Going on a road trip with Cara was an experience unto itself – let us just say there was never a dull moment! She loved to go to Red Lobster for her birthday and could not resist her celebratory Mudslide. Cara was truly one of a kind, and she will absolutely be missed by everyone whose lives she ever touched.
