Carl Joseph Sterwerf

Carl Sterwerf, age 86, passed away on April 7, 2023.

Carl is survived by his children Michael Sterwerf, Kathy (Jack) Trischler, Linda (Randal) Hemrich, and Stefan Sterwerf. Stepchildren; Renee Gebhardt, Mark Ellis, and Ron Ellis. Many Grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings Raymond (Norma) Sterwerf, Harold Sterwerf and many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Sterwerf. Siblings Louis Sterwerf Jr., Oliver Sterwerf, Marie Ketterman. Stepchildren; Debbie Cayze and Karen Halcomb.

Carl had a strong faith and enjoyed being a part of a church family. He was a member of Praise Chapel Church of God for many years. He was someone his neighbors could always count on for a helping hand and a smile.  He enjoyed fishing, watching a good movie, laughing with family and friends, and cheering for the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds.  He enjoyed life and found happiness in the simple things. 

Visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati OH 45231- follow the blue line to the left once on cemetery grounds) Graveside services will follow the visitation at 2:30.
