Carol Hasselbeck

june 8, 1930 – february 14, 2025

Carol Hasselbeck

On February 14, 2025, Carol Hasselbeck, a vibrant spirit and loving matriarch, left this world peacefully at the age of 94. Born June 8, 1930, in Cincinnati, OH, Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who filled every room with warmth and laughter.

She was the proud wife of the late Ralph Hasselbeck, marrying her high school sweetheart at just 19 years old after knowing he was the one from the moment she laid eyes on him. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with love and adventure, marked by date nights and family gatherings that became the backdrop of their joyful existence.

Carol was the loving mother to three adoring sons: Daniel (the late Patricia), Timothy (Susan), and Matthew (the late Peggy). Her family continued to grow with the arrival of grandchildren Nicholas (Emily), Kellie (Eric), Carly (Thomas), and Jolie (Ethan), along with 13 great-grandchildren who will forever treasure their memories of her.

In her earlier years, Carol dazzled as a showgirl for Arthur Murray, displaying her love for dancing and bringing joy to those around her. She had a passion for travel that took her all over the globe, and she relished the simple pleasures of indulging in good food at various restaurants, sharing those experiences with her loved ones made them even more special.

A celebration of Carol’s life will take place on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel (follow the red line upon entering the memorial park), starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. A graveside service will conclude the day at noon in the beautiful grounds of Arlington Memorial Gardens, located at 2145 Compton Road, Springfield Township, OH 45231.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Carol’s life to a charity of your choosing.

As we gather to honor and reflect on the remarkable life of Carol Hasselbeck, we remember her spirit—full of love, laughter, and a zest for life. Let us celebrate the extraordinary legacy she leaves behind in all of us.
