Cincinnati – Carol J. Schroer, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 with her loving family by her side at Mercy Fairfield Hospital. She was born on February 2, 1947 in Cincinnati, the daughter of Irvin and Helen (Fisher) Bayersdorfer. On November 1, 1969, Carol Bayersdorfer was united in marriage to Calvin Schroer at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Cincinnati. Carol was proud to be a 57 year member of Hoffner Chapter #286 of the Order Eastern Star. In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles, card games, watching movies and television. She was also known for her love of making and enjoying sweets. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her family during family functions and with her fur grand babies. Carol will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carol is survived by her three children, Debbie (Rob) Nungester, David Schroer and Rachel Schroer; three fur grand babies, Mazy, BB, and Taylor, three siblings, Nancy (Greg) Albright, Russ Bayersdorfer and Joan (John) Allen; and a sister-in-law, Carol Bayersdorfer. She is also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Calvin, her brother Mike.

The Order of the Eastern Star service will be held at SPRING GROVE FUNERAL HOME, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 1:00pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Graveside services will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
