Cecil Carter II

Cecil Carter II, a beloved member of our community, passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 69 in Fairfield, Ohio. Born on December 31, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Cecil was the cherished son of the late Cecil Carter Sr. and Edna Catherine Carter. He was a brother to Brenda Baker and the late Gene Carter.

Cecil was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to his occupation as a glazer in the construction industry. He was a proud union worker. Known for his skill and attention to detail, he lent his expertise to countless projects, ensuring that structures stood strong and beautiful. His work was not limited to his job, as Cecil would often lend a helping hand to those in need, using his talents to repair cars for friends and neighbors.

Family was everything to Cecil, and his devotion to his loved ones was evident in every aspect of his life. He was the beloved husband to his late wife, Teresa Carter. He was a proud father to his daughter Shannon Carter and son Cecil Carter III, who brought immense joy and purpose to his life. Cecil found immense happiness in the presence of his grandson Logan Mackzum, showering him with love, guidance, and affection.

As the youngest member of his family, Cecil held a special place in the hearts of his loved ones. Among those left to cherish his memory is his sister Brenda Baker, daughter Shannon, and Grandson Logan Mackzum, who shared countless memories and cherished moments with Cecil throughout their lives.

Cecil’s love for family extended beyond the day-to-day routine, as he thoroughly enjoyed gathering his loved ones for vacations and creating lasting memories together. Whether exploring new destinations or cherishing tranquil moments by the beach, these times represented the essence of what was truly important to Cecil – the love and togetherness of his family.

In accordance with Cecil’s wishes, a visitation will take place on December 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Followed by his memorial service at 12:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory, share stories, and find solace in each other’s company.
