Charles S. Hedges Sr. passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born on July 28, 1935, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, to the late Orey and Virginia (nee Wirles) Hedges. Loving husband to Phyllis (nee Withrow) Hedges for many years.

Charles was the loving father of Lori (Jeffrey) White, Karen (Russell) Benz, Charles (Jamie) Hedges Jr., Kevin (Alana) Hedges, and Carole (Eric) Dufresne. He was a proud grandfather to 19 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 22 great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother of Bill (the late Betty) Hedges and Joyce (Bob) Edens, and was preceded in death by his siblings Margie (Glenn) McGrath, Edna (Ron) Kroth, Emma (John) Ellis, and Sandy (Jim) Cox. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:30 p.m., at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
