Craig Lee King

Craig passed away unexpectedly at the age of 48 on August 7, 2022.

He was born in Cincinnati, OH to Wendell and Carolyn King. He graduated Mt. Healthy High School in 1992.  After graduating University of Cincinnati – Craig embarked on a successful career in Electrical Engineering in Phoenix, Arizona.  His career afforded Craig the opportunity to travel the world.  These travels ultimately led him to Bucharest, Romania, a place he loved and called home for the last 10 years. 

Craig was a cherished friend to many. These included friendships maintained during his school years and also those from his travels. He loved doing crosswords, reading, building rockets and playing pranks on friends. His energy and sense of humor left a smile on the face of everyone he met.

His greatest joy was traveling with his loving wife Simona, her daughter Emilia and good friends. They joked and laughed together, tested the rides in many amusement parks, took long bike rides, enjoyed every moment they spent together and created wonderful memories in every country they visited. There was never an adventure that Craig did not want to experience.

We will always remember Craig with joy and keep in mind how he has influenced our lives. Though he is no longer here, he will always be a part of our lives and he will be dearly missed.

Craig is survived by his wife Simona King, her daughter Emilia Cernea, Parents Wendell and Carolyn King, brothers Steve and Mike and many extended relatives and friends who loved him deeply.

A funeral service will be held October 22nd at 10:30 AM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum Located at 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.  Follow the Red Line to the Left when you enter the Memorial Park

Burial will follow at The Arlington Memorial Gardens.
