Dale L. Crane

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Dale L. Crane, a devoted husband, loving father, and esteemed engineer, who departed from this world on September 23, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on January 7, 1940, in McKeesport, PA, Dale was a proud American citizen who dedicated his professional life to the industrial field, serving at Procter & Gamble.

Dale, a man of unwavering loyalty and love for his family, had a remarkable 62-year marriage to his beloved wife, Lona Crane (nee Weimer). Together, they raised three daughters – Stephanie (Jeffrey), Johanna (Eric), and Amanda (Christopher) – who brought immeasurable joy and pride to his life. A proud grandfather to Trevor, Isabella, Hannah, Nathan, and Jacob, he found immense happiness and fulfillment in their presence.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann Crane (nee Sebes).

Throughout his life, Dale found solace in simple pleasures, delighting in rounds of golf, lively games of bowling, and unwavering support for his favorite sports teams, the Bengals, and the Reds. A man who appreciated life’s culinary offerings, he was known for his love of hearty meat and potatoes.

His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his grieving family and friends. May he rest in peace.
