Dana Kent Mayne

December 26, 1957 – November 4, 2022

Dana Kent Mayne

Dana Kent Mayne passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 64.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 26, 1957, and created a life here. He is survived by his Mother Pat Hines; his children, Chelsea (David Wesley) Mayne, Benjamin Mayne, Danielle (Jon) Sears, and Stephanie Mayne; his Grandchildren Sean, Harlee, Trenton, Caleb, Laylla, Benny, and Braelynn; his brother David Keith Mayne; his Grand pets and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, his sister KimberLee Mayne, and Step-Father Dan Hines.

Dana had more treasured friends than anyone could count much like his Invicta watches and Reagan memorabilia. He enjoyed watching sports, playing golf and a good bowling match now and then. Family was his heart and one of his favorite things to do was snuggle up on the couch with the dogs and his Grandchildren to take a nice nap. Slumber partying with them was the highlight of his week, but we all knew his hidden agenda was to wake us up at the crack of dawn to cook him breakfast then spend the day watching trash reality tv.

Visitation for Dana Kent Mayne will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Imago Dei Christian Fellowship located at 8928 Beckett Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.

Services will be held directly after at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jim Crabb.

“Dana Mayne…🥺 my favorite little buddy from work. I remember when I first started he’d give me hell for being “a woman in the workplace” 😂😂 I loved his humor and even more so watching that humor get him in trouble lol. I’m really going to miss him 🥲”

“I am so sorry for your loss Pat and family. I am remembering our families “back in the day” at Tri-County Assembly of God. Dana and I are the same age and we were in youth groups together at TCA. I remember Dana was so funny and loved to laugh. What wonderful times we all had. Thoughts and prayers going out to all.”

“I’ve known Dana since grade school. He lives just up the street from me. He was such a nice guy and funny. Our paths went different ways. But we would see each other at our reunions. I just saw him this past July at our 45th high school reunion. Had fun as usual I didn’t even know he was sick. My prayers 🙏 to him and his family. Dana you will truly be missed.”

“I’ve known Dana since I was a young teenager he was always kind and mellow and fun. We’ve kept in touch all these years more so these last few years he was my go to to discuss politics, He and I got into some Great discussions I will miss that! He bought me a Green Bay Packer jacket because he knew living in the south I probably couldn’t get one I will cherish it always❤️But most of all I will cherish the years of friendship. Hugs and prayers to the family lifting you all up🙏🏻”

“Our almost every weekend partying, when we were younger, in our backyard around the pool always included Dana. Playing guitars and everyone singing a lick. Dana always amazed with his harmonies. Our sympathy to his family. You will be missed brother!”

“He will be missed Truely a good friend May his memory be a blessing”

“Dana and I have known each other since high school. We have been family and friends. Although our paths took different directions, the few times we saw each other over the years were like we saw each other all the time. He welcomed me and my family into his home. I really appreciated that. He was one of the most open-minded and funniest people I’ve ever known.I don’t think he ever met a stranger. RIP dear Dana. Sending 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 for family and friends.”
