David Charles Blackmore

David Charles Blackmore, a beloved member of the community, passed away on June 11, 2024, in his hometown of Cincinnati. Born on October 2, 1948. David brought joy and laughter to all those around him throughout his life.

From his early days marching in parades to his time at Special Olympics and his job at the Beckman Center, David’s enthusiasm for life was evident to all who knew him. His love of dancing, singing, and swimming, as well as his passion for bowling, scouting and attending summer camps, brought him immense happiness.

David’s infectious laughter and friendly nature allowed him to make countless friends throughout his life. His close bond with his parents, Bill and Garnett, brother Barry, and sisters Susan and Jana, his nephew Ryan and niece Danielle, and many other extended family members and friends provided him with unwavering support and love.

A private burial will take place at the Arlington Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of David’s life to Manney House, 11220 Pippin Road, 45231 c/o Program Coordinator Crystal Thomas.

David’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be fondly remembered for his laughs, and his unyielding passion for life. Rest in peace, David Charles Blackmore.
