Deborah Hall Shelton

Deborah Shelton, age 67, passed away on April 11, 2023.

Deborah was God’s gift to Charles and Geneva Scroggins in the mid-1950s. Deborah married Charles Michael Shelton of Spartanburg, South Carolina on December 8, 2012, in Covington, Kentucky.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Michael Shelton, her great niece Heather whom she treated as her daughter, her nieces, Tracey, Susie and Amy, her Aunt Jean who she loved and enjoyed spending time with and many other family and friends. She also leaves to cherish her pets, Misty and Callie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Kenneth Branam.

Deborah had a bright sense of humor and enjoyed visiting family every chance possible. She spent time with many of her family members doing things they enjoyed, such as crafting and eating at their favorite restaurants. On May 27, 2022, Deborah and Michael moved to Mt. Airy to be closer to family. They loved going to the movies and camping and would spend numerous hours laughing and making memories at family reunions. Deborah was the most independent and strongest woman ever known, especially to the love of her life. She will be missed by everyone.
