A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diana Louise Lerch, a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who left us on April 6, 2026, in her beloved Cincinnati, OH. Born in Cincinnati, Diana was known as the family “go-to” for all things, a title she proudly embraced. Her passion for computers, plants, flowers, and simply helping others will be dearly missed by many.
Diana’s life was a beautiful tapestry of family love and vibrant interests. She was the devoted spouse of David Lerch, who lovingly maintained her backyard oasis, a tropical retreat filled with colorful flowers and serene scenery, which she considered her favorite vacation spot. Dave has a knack for cooking, and Diana relished every meal he prepared, always finding joy in their shared moments.
As a proud mother to Allison (Ian) Kinsley and grandmother to the delightful Brooklynn Kinsley, Diana cherished watching her granddaughter play volleyball and creating memories that will last a lifetime. She also enjoyed indulging in craft shows with her family and friends, adding her own creative touch to the world around her.
Diana’s nurturing spirit extended beyond human relationships to her fuzzy family, Suzie Q and Gracie, who brought her endless joy and companionship. Her vibrant personality and generous heart touched everyone who knew her, leaving a legacy of love and warmth.
Diana will be deeply missed by her brothers, David (Liz), Roger, and Duane (Lisa Willig) Dietrich, and her sister, Donna (Steve) Weber. She leaves behind wonderful memories that will continue to resonate in the hearts of everyone she knew.
In celebration of Diana’s life, we will gather together to honor her memory on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line to the left upon entering the memorial park). Visitation is from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with service immediately following. As she embarks on the next great adventure, we invite everyone who knew Diana to join us in celebrating the incredible woman she was. Her spirit will live on in the laughter, love, and warmth she shared with each of us.
Rest in peace, Diana. Your backyard oasis and the memories you created will forever be a testament to the joy you brought into our lives.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Marian Dietrich, her sister, Linda Dietrich, and her fur babies, Bruno, Chloe, and Sam.
The family has requested that everyone please wear vibrant colors to the services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Diana to Sweet Dream House Rescue https://www.dreamhouserescue.org/donate.html
