Dona G. Toft

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dona G. Toft, who left us on her birthday on October 23, 2025, at the age of 73, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 23, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, Dona was a resident of Kings Mills, Ohio.

Dona was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Tara (Steve) Hood and Shannon Bose, and a cherished grandmother to her four grandsons: Brett Hood, Nick Hood, Ryan Hughes, and Ty Hughes. Family was everything to Dona, and she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones, sharing laughter, love, and kindness. 

As a nanny for many years, Dona dedicated her life to the care of children, pouring her love and warmth into every family she touched. As a lifelong Catholic, her faith guided her through life, and she instilled in her family the values of love and compassion.

Dona is survived by her loving sister, Sandra (John) Conaway, her four brothers, David Seibert, Daniel (Glenda) Seibert, Timothy (Amy) Seibert, Scott (Sue) Seibert, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends.

Dona was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mildred Seibert.

Dona’s journey on earth was marked by love, laughter, and unwavering faith in God. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will always remain in the hearts of those she loved.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the UC Blood Cancer Healing Center for the compassionate care they provided to Dona during her illness.

Funeral services for Dona will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2025. The family invites friends to join them for a visitation at 1:00 PM. The funeral service will commence at 2:15 PM. We welcome all those who knew and loved Dona to celebrate her life and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
