Donald Joseph Theobald

Donald Joseph Theobald, lovingly known as Don, has sadly left us on April 17, 2024, at the age of 73. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Don dedicated over 37 years of his life as a lieutenant firefighter in the Cincinnati Fire Department, showing unwavering commitment to serving his community.

A proud family man, Don is survived by his beloved spouse of 53 years, Trina (Nee Garcia) Theobald, his son Jason (Aria Adamay) Theobald, and cherished grandchildren Ayden and Maddox Theobald. He also leaves behind his siblings, Lou (Laura) Nortman, Michelle Jansen, Eric (Polly) Nortman and Valerie (James) Sposato, cousin, Diane (Bill) Ferneding, who’s support and love sustained Trina through Don’s journey, and many extended relatives and friends.

Don’s passion for his work and family was unmatched, with his attention to detail shining through in everything he did.

Visitation to celebrate Don’s remarkable life will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, when the services will begin, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231. Once on the grounds of the memorial park, follow the BLUE line to the funeral home.

Don will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
