Donald Rusk

Donald Rusk, age 87, passed away suddenly on March 31, 2024. Donald was born in Cincinnati, OH on August, 18, 1936, to Clifford and Mildred (Talley) Rusk. Donald went to Norwood High School. He worked on the assembly line for General Motors for 25 plus years.

Donald was a member of the Norwood Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was a soccer coach and enjoyed talking all things about the sport. Donald enjoyed vegetable gardening and planting flowers. His favorite family vacation spot was Dale Hollow Lake on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee. Donald cherished his time spent with family and talking about the good ol’ days.

A celebration of life for Donald will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Norwood Masonic Lodge, 2020 Hopkins Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45212.

Donald is survived by his children, Patricia (William) Blackburn, Connie (Daniel) Taylor, Nancy (Glenn) Holten, Larry Rusk, Becky (Kevin) Plank; 11 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 plus years, Georgiana Rusk, his parents, and sisters, Dorothy Rich and Betty Richardson.

Memorial contributions in honor of Donald can be made to Queen City Hospice or the Masonic Home in Springfield, OH in the name of Don and Georgiana Rusk.
